The use of traditional Chinese medicine in health maintenance, herbal cuisine, and herbal drinks is widespread in our daily lives. With the Dragon Boat Festival approaching, we are inviting you to join an event organized by a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic. Through an enjoyable and educational program, parents and children will have the opportunity to learn about Traditional Chinese Medicine, understand how to alleviate mild discomfort, explore the origins of Dragon Boat Festival sachets, and even make their own medicinal herb sachets. Event Information:
Date and Time: 10th June (Saturday), 14:30 to 16:00
Location: Children's Library on the first floor of the Main Branch
Eligibility: Children aged 4 and above (accompanied by parents)
Event Details:
14:30-15:00: Health Q&A with the Doctor
15:00-15:10: Intermission
15:10-16:00: Parent-child experience in making sachets (DIY)
Registration:
Online registration opens on 26th May (Friday) at 10:00 AM.
"Health Q&A" limited to 25 children.
"Sachet DIY" will allow flexible on-site participation by other parent-child pairs.
Important Notes:
1.Submitting the form does not guarantee successful registration. Limited waiting list spots will be reserved in addition to the confirmed participants. Confirmation and waiting list emails will be sent after the review process. Please check your email inbox.
2.If you are unable to attend after registration, please inform us by phone at least 3 days before the event (04-22625100 ext. 1120). Failure to attend without valid reason may affect the rights of other participants, and the library reserves the right to assess eligibility for future registrations.
3.If you have persistent symptoms of respiratory infection, such as coughing, please wear a mask when entering the venue.
