Ocean Minions - The Drifting Zooplankton

Plankton refers to a general term for organisms that drift and live in water.
Zooplankton, commonly known as animal plankton, are small animals that have little to no swimming ability and can only float passively with the water current. They are widely distributed in various bodies of water, such as lakes, swamps, and oceans.

Marine zooplankton play important and diverse roles in marine ecosystems. This special exhibition uses easy-to-understand illustrations and videos, along with physical specimens and explanations of sampling tools, to provide the public with a glimpse into these small yet crucial organisms. It helps people understand that they are key to maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems.

Exhibition Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Sunday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
