《brief introduction》
This speech mainly talks about snow mountains and the Great Overlord Ridge, which covers various aspects and themes.
The title of the lecture is also the title of a movie, which was completed in 1952 and released in Taiwan in 1953. Starring three big stars at the time: Gregory Peck, Susan Hayward and Ava Gardne, the film was adapted from the 1932 Ernest Miller Hemingway novel "The Snows of Kilimanjaro".
Snow mountains have been overstudied and overtrampled, but there are few literary descriptions of them. This is what the lecturer mainly wanted to convey, and it is also what Taiwan lacks the most. But the general public still wants to absorb knowledge. How can they play? Just grab it on their mobile phones, right? There is already enough popular knowledge, and there are many people who have climbed snow mountains many times, so let us look at snow mountains (second highest mountains) from a different perspective!
