《Introduction》In many families, the eldest daughter is often seen as the most understanding, reliable, and capable of holding everything together. Accustomed to caring for others and taking on responsibilities, she may come to believe that this sense of duty is simply part of being the eldest—while quietly overlooking her own feelings and needs.
Drawing from her works as a starting point, the speaker guides us to see the love and pressure behind the role of the “eldest daughter,” and to reflect on the delicate balance between love and boundaries within family relationships.
This lecture will share stories that were not written into the books, along with reflections and feedback from readers that followed. Through these conversations, participants are invited to recognize invisible scripts of responsibility and to rethink how love and understanding can be defined in healthier ways.
Through the speaker’s gentle writing and honest interviews, we will learn together how to better understand our families, release inherited responsibilities, and rebuild healthier relationships—so that birth order no longer dictates obligation, and love becomes not a constraint, but a force for growth.
