Collect Points and Exchange Prizes by Reading at the Library for Elementary School Students Grades 1-6!
Don't miss out on this fantastic activity. Welcome children to participate and remember to accumulate points over time to redeem prizes!
Parent-Child Scientist Mailbox Activity Guidelines:
- Elementary school students in grades 1-6 can request the weekly library books and study sheets for their grade at the Children's Library counter. Please present your borrowing card or other identification at the counter. Acceptance of requests will end 30 minutes before closing time.
- The books for the week are for in-library reading only. After completing the study sheets, please return the books to the counter and deposit the study sheets into the Big Bird mailbox.
- Books are updated every Friday, so children can participate once every week.
- Each correct answer on the study sheet earns a medal. Children can collect their previous study sheets after Friday and have them stamped by the counter staff.
- Accumulated medals can be exchanged for prizes displayed in the counter's showcase. Medals can only be accumulated on the individual's own prize card. The prize card must be filled with stamps before redemption. If someone else's prize card is used for redemption, that card will be voided.
- Unclaimed study sheets will be kept by the library for two months.
Enjoy the reading and have fun collecting points for exciting prizes!
