In an effort to support the promotion of French literature and philosophies, France began the publication grant program since 1990. This program is named after Ms. Hu Pinching for her dedication in promoting French writers in Taiwan before she passed away.

Bibliothèque nationale de France |
|
Bibliothèque nationale de France was originally the king's library that maintained the collection from all past royal houses. The times change, and it was then repositioned as the National Library of France in 1795 and opened to public. It has a collection of over ten million books and is one of the most important libraries in the world. Additionally, it has many branches in France. The most important one was the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand, located at 13th arrondissement of Paris Île-de-France. The construction plan of this library was regarded as "the world's biggest and most modern library." Construction started in 1988, and was completed in 9 years. The appearance of this library is like a large tome, and an architecture body made with modern elements such as metal and glass, and decorated with warm wooden interior spaces. It exhibits the beauty of contemporary craftsmanship integrating technology and a cultural atmosphere. As a landmark of Paris, the library interprets the never-changing and ever-changing nature of knowledge radiantly and silently. https://www.bnf.fr/fr
