Ms. Hsiang-Ping Ma, the Director of the National Library of Public Information (NLPI), and Mr. Chia-Ping Cheng, the Administrator of the Central Weather Administration (CWA), signed a memorandum to combine the reading promotion of NLPI and the weather information of CWA to promote SDGs on March 4th,2024. This agreement solidifies their commitment to promoting public awareness and literacy regarding sustainability. Their collaboration aims to make meaningful contributions to environmental sustainability efforts. 

During the signing ceremony, NLPI's groundbreaking virtual AI Librarian with ChatGPT engine, "Xiao Shu", was introduced beyond the confines of the library first time. Engaging in a dialogue with the weather anchor, Ms. Wan-Hua Wu, “Xiao Shu” showcased the library's pivotal role as a catalyst for effective communication and engagement.
