Digital Resource Promotion Services

Introduction to Digital Resource Promotion Services

To promote various types of digital resources offered by the library, encourage digital reading, and enhance readers' information literacy, our library organizes digital resource promotion courses. Themed courses are held within the library, and visitors can concurrently apply for digital resource introduction courses when requesting guided tours.

Outreach programs are conducted through physical or online methods, with free applications open to schools, public libraries, and other education-related institutions or groups. Application Process for Digital Resource Outreach Programs

 

Digital resource outreach programs are offered in both physical and online formats, and applications are accepted free of charge from schools, public libraries, and other educational institutions

Qualifications:
Schools, public libraries, and other education-related entities are eligible to apply. Different units can submit joint applications.

Target Participants:
Open to the general public, public servants, primary and secondary school teachers, as well as school volunteers.

Class Size:
For physical courses, a minimum of 35 participants is required; for online courses, a minimum of 20 participants is necessary.

Application Procedure:
Applying units should submit their applications to the library at least 30 days before the course commencement. Before submitting the official document, please confirm with the designated personnel via phone or email. The document should specify the course name, event date, target participants, and the number of participants.

Venue and Equipment:
For both physical and online courses, applicants must provide the venue, computers, internet access, projection equipment or teaching broadcast systems, audio equipment, and microphones. Online courses will utilize our library's iTeaching online teaching system.

Course Content:
The course will cover an introduction to various digital resources available in the library.

Feedback and Results:
Participants are required to apply for the National Library of Public Information borrowing card in advance, complete pre and post-course surveys. After the course, the applying entity should organize follow-up promotional activities and compile the promotional results to submit to National Library of Public Information.For individual online card applications, please click here. Proof of study hours
The applying entity is responsible for issuing Proof of study hours.
