Library Card Application

The "Directions of Application for National Library of Public Information Card" have been established to facilitate the application process.

Foreign nationals are required to present their original Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) or original passport when applying for a library card.Individuals from Hong Kong, Macao, and Mainland China should present their original Exit & Entry Permit for the Taiwan Area of the Republic of China or their original Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) for their library card application.

Library cards obtained with a passport or Entry/Exit Permit must be renewed annually from the date of issue. To renew a library card, applicants should present the original card and proof of identity for verification of reader information.
