The "eBook Online Service" (EBOS) platform and its mobile reading app, "iLib Reader," represent the first electronic book service system tailored for domestic library models in Taiwan. Established by the National Library of Public Libraries (NLPI) in 2008, EBOS provides access to over 400,000 eBooks shared among public libraries nationwide in Taiwan. Users of city and county libraries can register as members by logging in with their local library card ID and password, enabling unrestricted reading anytime and anywhere.
