Schools or institutions interested in collectively applying for digital library cards should thoroughly review the "Library Card Application Guidelines of the National Library of Public Information" and the instructions for collective digital library card applications (Attachment 1). A designated contact person must be appointed, and any changes to the contact person’s details must be promptly reported to the Library.
    • Note 1: Collective digital library card applications are limited to Republic of China(Taiwan) nationals who have not previously applied for individual library cards at the National Library of Public Information or the Taichung City Library.
    • Note 2: Applicants for collective digital library cards are restricted to faculty, staff, and students of the applying school or institution and do not extend to relatives or associates.
  • Submission of Application Documents
Applications must be submitted via an official document to the Library, accompanied by the following attachments:
    • Application Form (Attachment 2)
    • Personal Information Authorization Agreement Statement (Attachment 3)
  • Submission of Applicant Data
Upon approval of the application by the Library, the designated contact person must compile applicant information and complete the reader information file in the format provided by the Library (Attachment 4). The completed file should be sent via email to ecard@nlpi.edu.tw.
    • Note 1: Files containing errors or incorrect formats will be returned for correction.
    • Note 2: If applications are submitted in batches, each batch requires a separate official document.
