During the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference held in Chicago, USA on June 26th,
2023, the National Library of Public Information (NLPI) participated in a poster exhibition with the theme "You Can Really Dance - IoT Reinvents Multi-functional Space Management." Wen-Jen Ke from NLPI
shared the success of NLPI in creating a vibrant, interactive, and modern youth-exclusive activity space
called "好Young館" through the integration of smart systems and the implementation of Internet of
Things (IoT) technology. This allowed for intelligent space management and provided a successful
experience for young readers to engage in diverse reading activities. The interaction and exchange with
conference attendees expanded NLPI's connections within the international library community, while also
demonstrating the innovative strength and influence of Taiwan's libraries.
