On June 6th, the National Library of Public Information hosted the "2024 SDGs Forum," Promoting SDGs across sectors with super power."  

Ms. Hsiang-Ping Ma, Director General of the National Library of Public Information (NLPI), stated that the NLPI has integrated sustainable development into its long-term planning. The goal of this forum is to establish a platform for sharing sustainable experiences and laying the foundation for cross-sector collaboration.

The event gathered representatives from specialist, industry, government, universities, picture book writers and youth to share their experiences from five different perspectives. This marks the first time the library community has united various sectors to discuss sustainability issues collectively in Taiwan. 

Participants included the Central Weather Administration, Tunghai University, National Chung Hsing University, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, National Chi Nan University, National Taichung University of Education, National Museum of Natural Science, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, National Taichung Theater, International Climate Development Institute, Shei-Pa National Park Headquarters and Mingdao High School.
