Understanding and application of offline maps and sharing of mountain accident cases and principles
Hits:91
《brief introduction
When entering the mountains and forests in an unknown or relatively unfamiliar environment, it is very important to know your location! In mountain accidents, the proportion of getting lost is always high. From the early use of paper maps with compasses to the use of offline maps on electronic devices after the development of technology, it is easier for ordinary mountaineers to grasp the direction and position when entering the mountains, which has greatly reduced the possibility of getting lost. This lecture will introduce map contours, compare the differences and usage methods of traditional paper maps and electronic offline maps, and finally share the incident of getting lost in the mountains of Jiaming Lake as a reference for getting lost.
