《Introduction》Centered on the theme “From Sky to City,” this lecture explores how long-term observations of raptors can help us better understand environmental change. With their wide-ranging habitats—from forests to urban areas—raptors are closely connected to human life, and changes in their populations and behaviors often reflect shifts in the environments around us.
Through case studies and field observations, the lecture will demonstrate how long-term monitoring can provide valuable clues for understanding environmental transformation and how these insights can be translated into conservation action and practical decision-making.
Ultimately, the session aims to inspire greater awareness of the natural environments surrounding us and to show that everyone can contribute to environmental sustainability by beginning with everyday observation and documentation.
