As short-form videos, AI-generated content, and streaming platforms continue to reshape the way we consume information and entertainment, why are people still willing to step into a theatre?
 
Huang Chien-hao, Artist-in-Residence at the National Taichung Theater for 2025–2026, will share from the perspective of a musical theatre creator how live performance continues to reconnect people through emotion and human interaction in an age of rapid technological change.
 
This lecture will introduce audiences to the unique appeal of musical theatre through stories behind various productions, while exploring how creators think about “communicating with audiences” and how technological tools are integrated into the creative process.
 
In addition to the creative sharing session, selected live musical performances will also be presented, inviting audiences to personally experience the irreplaceable magic of theatre.
