From “One” to “More Than Two”: Decoding Intimacy in Parenting Scripts
Hits:33
《Introduction
New parents often find themselves swinging between love and exhaustion. Why does my child keep crying? Should I comfort them now, or wait a little longer? How should daily routines be established? Am I responding in the right way? And how can partners work together to truly support one another as a team?
Grounded in developmental psychology and attachment theory, this lecture guides parents in understanding the physical and emotional needs of infants and young children aged 0–6. Parents will learn response strategies centered on “secure attachment,” helping to build stable yet flexible parent–child interactions.
The lecture aims to support parents in understanding the underlying needs behind children’s emotions and behaviors; learning practical principles of soothing, boundary-setting, and everyday caregiving; recognizing their own parenting stress and emotions to avoid excessive self-blame or burnout; and developing consistent, sustainable confidence in their parenting role.
This is not only a lecture about children, but also a process of psychological support that helps parents regain their footing and move forward with greater stability and assurance.
