《Content Introduction》Mountains are the source of Taiwan’s wonderfulness.
This island, located in the warm ocean east of the Asian continent, has grown hundreds of kilometers of mountains between the waves of the Kuroshio Current under the compression of the Eurasian Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate for tens of millions of years, creating three-dimensional temperature changes and bringing together all the elements of high biodiversity.
From plains to mountain tops, from sea level to nearly four thousand, the diversity of habitats from subtropical to subarctic, plus the land bridges of the Ice Age, have allowed life from all over the world to take root on this island, creating our own unique appearance.
Let me share with you what I have seen in the past ten years, walk through the mountains and forests at all altitudes from the perspective of life, and take you to experience our most charming three-dimensional home!
