Why does the library offer multi-cultural services? What are the features?

In order to develop multicultural services and promote cultural exchanges, the library has signed memorandums of cooperation with the representative offices of the United Kingdom, the United States and France in Taiwan. Three information centers have been set up in the Multi-Cultural Service Area of the library. In 2005, the American Data Center was set up. In 2011, the UK Information Center and the French Information Center were set up. In 2013, the Learning Resources Center for Senior Citizens and the Service Area for New Residents from Southeast Asia were set up. The Multi-Culture Service Area provides Multicultural services for senior citizens from Taiwan and other countries in the world and new residents from Southeast Asia. The spatial design of the information centers for the United States, the United Kingdom and France and other countries will showcase their unique cultural features and their distinctive collections of books and periodicals for the public to use freely.
