What is the retrieval service? What information requires the retrieval function?

  1. To provide a more open and comfortable environment for readers, some of the rarely used or space-consuming collections are kept in the Closed Stacks of the Main Library in B1.
  2. How to use the retrieval service: Readers can file an application via the enquiry system for library collection at or visit the Service Counter on the 3rd floor of the Main Library to file a request. We will retrieve the information from the Closed Stacks for you.
  3. The information to be retrieved through the retrieval service includes rarely-used general books available for borrowing. Bound periodicals, newspapers, reference books, special books, dissertations, government publications, wire-bound books, and Japanese books not available for borrowing.
